Here in Alberta we are becoming accustomed to the annual hailstorms that seem to hit in early July through to mid August and can vary from pea size to as large as a baseball. The damage caused also varies, pea size does not really do much until you get to golf ball where, depending on how solid the hail is, can do some real damage. When you get to baseball hail then the damage is so bad there little hope for your vehicle. A good indicator is if the glass is broken, sun roofs break first then windshields followed by door mirrors.
